Thanks for wanting to get in touch! There are several ways you can get ahold of me.

Email: [email protected]

This is the easiest way to reach me. I do try to respond promptly to genuine requests.

Twitter: @exceptionnotfnd

This is my primary means of communicating with the larger world so please do follow me there. I do not currently allow DMs from accounts I don't follow but I do see all replies, so feel free to @ me.

LinkedIn: exceptionnotfound

My work history is up to date, and new blog posts will be announced here as well. I will accept connections from people I've met in real life, or worked with closely. If I haven't met you personally, I won't accept connections from you.

GitHub: exceptionnotfound

While you cannot contact me directly on GitHub, I am monitoring all of my repositories for pull requests, issues, and the like. I am always looking for improvements my Dear Readers can suggest!

What I'll Respond To

I will certainly respond to any queries about sponsorship or the Guest Writer Program.

If you'd like to have me on a podcast to talk about technical issues or non-technical ones (particularly ADHD and the workplace) I will certainly be available.

What I May Not Respond To

If you have technical questions, I may try to help, but I don't always have time to respond to every message I get.

I probably won't respond to queries like "check out this cool thing I made", "can I ask you a question?" or "would you like to work on this new app/project/thingamajig that I want to build?"

If you have a question about a specific blog post, please use the comments on that post rather than contacting me personally. You are way more likely to get someone to help you in that situation.

What I Won't Respond To

No, you may not guest post on Exception Not Found unless you're in the Guest Writer Program.

No, I'm not going to link to your new cool thing, no matter what it is.

No, I will not promote your site, blog post, article, infographic or any other content for you.

No, I don't like bumping (e.g. "Just wanted to bump this to the top of your inbox") and getting messages with that phrase or similar phrases in them causes me to immediately delete those messages.
